BaseHV Privacy Policy

BaseHV is a product of Novavirt Inc. ("Novavirt," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through basehv.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and your rights regarding it.

We wrote this policy to accurately describe what actually happens on this Site — not as a generic template. If something here ever stops being true, we'll update it.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you submit the Request Early Access form, we collect:

• Your name
• Your work email address
• Your company name (optional)
• The cluster size you're considering (a selection from a predefined range)
• Any additional message you choose to include (optional)

This is the only form on the Site, and it is the only way we directly collect personal information from you.

We do not currently operate any other forms, account creation, login, or checkout flow on this Site.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

Hosting infrastructure (Railway). This Site is hosted on Railway. As part of normal web hosting operations, Railway logs standard technical request data for traffic passing through its infrastructure, including things like source IP address, HTTP request details (method, path, status code), user agent (browser/device information), and DNS query data. This logging happens at the infrastructure level as a normal part of running any website — it is not something Novavirt separately configures for tracking or marketing purposes, and we do not use it to build profiles of individual visitors.

Network layer (Cloudflare). This Site's domain (basehv.com) uses Cloudflare for DNS management. Cloudflare's proxy/CDN layer is not currently active for this Site, meaning Cloudflare does not sit between your browser and this Site's traffic and does not process your request data or set cookies as part of normal operation. If we activate Cloudflare's proxy or security features in the future, we will update this Policy and our Cookie Policy accordingly.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising or marketing tracking service on this Site, beyond what Railway and Cloudflare provide by default as part of hosting and security infrastructure.

1.3 What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect payment information on this Site (BaseHV is not currently sold through self-service checkout). We do not collect information from children, and this Site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly track you across other websites.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information submitted through the Request Early Access form solely to:

• Respond to your request and evaluate early access interest
• Contact you about BaseHV, if you've asked us to
• Understand aggregate interest in BaseHV (e.g., typical cluster sizes prospective customers are considering) to inform our own planning

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do not add you to a mailing list or newsletter — the Site says this explicitly, and we mean it: "We'll reach out personally once we're ready to onboard early adopters. No spam, no mailing list."

Technical/infrastructure data collected by Railway and Cloudflare is used only for the purposes those providers use it for (operating, securing, and troubleshooting the Site) and is not repurposed by Novavirt for marketing.

3. Data Retention

We retain early access form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate and respond to your interest in BaseHV, or until you ask us to delete it (see Section 5).

Technical logs held by Railway are subject to Railway's own retention practices, which Novavirt does not independently control. Please refer to Railway's own privacy documentation for details on their data handling.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We use the following service providers to operate this Site, each of which may process limited data as described above:

• Railway — web hosting and infrastructure
• Cloudflare — content delivery, performance, and security

We may disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Novavirt, our users, or others.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Regardless of where you're located, you may contact us at any time to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Request that we correct inaccurate information
• Request that we delete your information
• Withdraw any consent you've given and ask us to stop contacting you

To make any of these requests, email us at [privacy@basehv.com] (or your preferred contact address). We will respond promptly.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or a jurisdiction with similar data protection laws, you may have additional rights under applicable law (such as the GDPR), including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we've collected and the right to request deletion. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information submitted through this Site, including relying on the security infrastructure provided by Railway and Cloudflare. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Changes to This Policy

As BaseHV grows — for example, if we add self-service purchasing, a customer portal, or additional analytics — this policy will change to accurately reflect what we actually do. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we make material changes.
